| THE LUCKYONES ARE GETTING A FACELIFT! |
Dear LuckyOnes Member,
MyLeague.com is undergoing a makeover, and our League has volunteered to test the new design and provide MyLeague.com with our feedback!
The previous design for MyLeague.com was developed in 1999, and even though it was considered modern and efficient at one time, the design had fallen more and more behind the times. MyLeague.com is hopeful this new design will not only be more visually appealing, but it is also more user-friendly and has new and exciting features.
Some new features you can look forward to are:
- All leagues will have the left hand menu replaced with tabs at the top of the page
- You must login at the top right hand of the page to access all the new features for you(login is a one time function)
- All information will be updated in real time, the users logged in will see their name and their ladder bux. No more going to Find Player to see how many bux you have
- Email addresses will no longer be available for viewing from any of the new pages but you will be able to contact a league member using a web form from the site.
- The Find Player, Tournament Player Card and other info is now all combined in one profile page
- All members premium or not can now upload an Avatar from the My Account tab.
- Premium Members features have been upgraded to make things simpler and faster
We plan to move to the new format on Saturday February 23rd.
Moving to this new format your Player Stats, TD stats and Premium Membershipswillo not be in jeopardy - the data will be the same, but the look will be different.
We will be creating a link for our Shout Box and Tournament Calendar as there are some bugs with these 2 functions.
We will also be creating a link to our old (current) web page if you prefer to use it till the new site is totally modified.
Our role in the testing phase will primarily be to continue playing in our League as normal, but we also will be asked for our input on the new features and look.
If there is something that you find confusing, or if there's something that you really like about the new look, you should tell us so that we can pass that information along to MyLeague.com.
Any issues with the new site design need to come through us first, you can not go directly to myleague with questions. We will try to keep you as informed as possible.

LUCKYONES RULE CHANGE REMINDER:
Effective Sun Feb 3/08
The spin line was replaced with a 20 second warning and the old spin line is now the token line.
Previously you had 20 seconds for token line and a further 20 for the spin line.
You now have 40 seconds to report scores in all timed games
Note: The first score given before token line is the score that will be used.

BADGE TIPS FOR THOUSAND ISLAND SOLITAIRE:
Reach 20 treasure chests this week! (Match the number to the left of your stack of cards 20 times.)

For 1,000 Mile High, concentrate on finishing your piles with an even 1,000 points.
All four Fixer cards apply for the Scurvy Remedy badge: sail repair, cork, fruit or End Limit.
For Stormy Seas, only the Lifesaver that you get at PogoMart counts for this badge, not the Lifesaver cards that sometimes appears above a completed 1,000 stack.
For Treasure Island, you need to hit the exact bonus amounts. There are three in each game, with their amounts indicated by the numbers next to them.
Rank progress is made by delivering items to the fifth port (Road Island at first) after every fifth game won.
Gotta Deliver 'em All! is earned by delivering 30 unique items (there are 48 in all). You don't get to choose which items you get, and they repeat a lot. You can see your item count by clicking on Book in the game area.
14k Gold is earned by hitting the exact treasure chest bonus amounts 14,000 times. To work towards this badge, be sure to hit those exact amounts as often as possible. As a bonus, any current hazard on a stack will be cleared when you hit its target amount.
Gotta Deliver 'em All! and 14k Gold are special badges unrelated to ranks. Gotta Deliver 'em All! comes along around rank 8 to 10. 14k Gold comes along much, much later - you can check the treasure chest count on your game stats to check your progress for this one.

Find 50 words that are buried backwards this week! (Words buried up-and-down or diagonally don't count!)

Be aware of the 10 minute time limit for Alphabet Soup!
For Word Searcher Seeks Badge, be sure to select Medium difficulty level!
For Backwards, you must find words that are spelled right to left.
Be sure to select Random Puzzles for The Search Is On! Note these puzzles won't count towards Game Award state badges.
For Searching for Words or The Search Is On, work on Easy difficulty for fewer words per puzzle.
For Finders Keepers, Gift Words have a missing letter and are shown in blue in the words list.
You can hit Random Puzzle anytime, but those won't count towards Game award badges.
You can do any daily puzzle to earn Game award badges, but you can only do each puzzle once to count toward badges.
Puzzles are only up for six months so if you're trying to catch up with all posted puzzles to earn state badges, start with the earliest ones.
